Whole Foods Haul

Hey guys! Hope you are all doing well. I don't have much to say for today's post so I'll just get right into the pictures :) Here is my haul from my splurge-y Whole Foods trip yesterday!

Cherries were on sale for $3.99/lb down from $6.99/lb so I felt like I had to get some. They are good too so it was totally worth it (they were still expensive even at the sale price). I also got some strawberries and some peaches.

I know that the primal strips are excessive but they are my favorite quick snack and it is so hard for me to find them so when I do I stock up! I grabbed 10. Oops! I also got some fruit strips because they are great for satisfying your sweet tooth.

I also got some Mother In Law's Vegan White Kimchi, Kite Hill Key Lime Yogurt, Almond Dream Plain Yogurt (for baking), Tofutti and some Soy "Popcorn Nuggets." I have really been wanting to try kimchi and this stuff is expensive but I decided to go for it! I also have tried Kite Hill yogurt in the past and thought it was way too sweet but I love key lime and wanted to give this flavor a try. I'm hoping the tartness of the lime flavor will tone down the sweetness a bit.

Two containers of mushroom broth (why is this stuff so hard to find?!) and some EB cheddar squares.

I forgot to put this in the picture above with the refrigerated stuff but I treated myself to some chao! What is your favorite way to eat Chao?

I am pretty set for snacks for a very long time. I'm glad that I went and I'm glad that I treated myself. I only go once every few months and I grab things that are hard for me to find elsewhere. I am glad I stocked up on the broth (ooooh that pun thoooooo) because I have some soups planned!

This is my lunch for today! I thought I'd throw it in for fun ;) You can see it is quite produce heavy and I couldn't wait to try my fruit from my haul. It's going to be delicious.

So that's all I have for you! I hope you are well and I'll see you on Saturday <3

Great haul!! It's great to treat yourself and what better place than Whole Foods! Key Lime yogurt sounds amazing!!
To be honest my favorite way to eat Chao is cold, right out of the package! It's just so great to have a vegan cheese that tastes good cold. But I also love it in mac and cheese.
I don't thing I've ever seen the mushroom broth before. I wondered if it actually existed! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
Your lunch looks so vibrant and delicious!

Primal Strips are the BEST! And they're hard to find here too. Only Imagine Vegan Cafe sells them. Also, love those EB cheddar squares! I bought cherries this week as well because they were on sale, which is pretty much the only time I'll splurge on cherries. Yay for cherry season!

Lots of splurges, that Kite Hill stuff was always too pricey for me to try. I can actually get the Chao down here, but, I guess I have given up on vegan cheese. I know I would love the Soy Popcorn Nuggets. Your lunch looks so beautiful. Bet you felt really good after eating a meal like that.

I still need to try the Primal Strip! I've been holding out on cherries due to price, so I'll have to see if the price is down here, too!

I don't know anything about the Chao cheese, so I'd suggest put it in a quesadilla or grilled cheese?

Thank you! I hear ya. I spent way too much but I'm happy with everything I got and it should all last a while.

I tried the Chao on a boca burger and it was so good! I snuck a little piece off the corner and ate it cold and I was surprised by how good it was! As soon as I get some good bread I really want to make a grilled cheese with it.

I like mushroom broth a lot. I'm planning on adding some miso too it. The lunch was delicious!

I only like the Thai Peanut flavor but they are AMAZING! I love the texture and the little bit of heat. The EB squares are also amazing. Hooray for cherry season! Cherries are one of my favorite splurges.

The Kite Hill is definitely a splurge (I will NEVER pay $9 for cream cheese when tofutti is amazing) and I was not a fan of the cloyingly sweet yogurt but I really wanted to try the Key Lime flavor. The soy popcorn nuggets were amazing and so was the lunch! I've been craving fruit like crazy lately.

I definitely recommend the Thai Peanut primal strip! It's the only one I eat :) Yes, check the cherries! They are on sale everywhere it seems! I just went to a different store and it was on sale for $2.99/lb!

I definitely think I see a grilled cheese in my future :)

That's not bad for cherries! I NEVER get them since they are always $6+ per pound. It is crazy. Luckily my boss shares his with me.

It was a really great price! It was down from $6.99/lb so I think that is probably the average for it. I had to grab them! Nice boss! :)

Oh yum!! You got so much good stuff. I used to love those EB squares before I found out I was allergic to paprika and I wis I could get Chao where I am, it's so delicious.

The EB squares are delicious but what a bummer to be allergic to paprika! The Chao is definitely delicious and something I've been using sparingly :)
