The first day I was at my brother's house I had no groceries so I needed to grab a quick breakfast and lunch to bring to work. I stopped by Starbucks for a decaf soy hazelnut latte and the oatmeal that I topped with the dried fruit and nuts.
I also grabbed a chopped salad which I topped with balsamic vinaigrette when I ate it. This one has romaine, chickpeas, cucumber, carrot and sun dried tomatoes. So good.
I made some overnight oats for breakfast one day. It has oats, almond milk, ground flax, cinnamon, raisins, almonds and some dark chocolate covered cacao nibs.
This was lunch one day - the best red lentil soup with some Lemon Energy Bites and an apple.
I didn't get a ton of pics of the babies but here is Tyler lounging next to me.
TJ has no problems making himself comfortable.
I love his face so much.
So I ended up getting sick on Thursday and had to stay home on Friday because I just felt so awful. One way I know when I'm actually sick and it's not just allergies is that I have major cravings for super nutritious foods. I didn't have much of an appetite but I made this one big beautiful meal to enjoy last night.
Roasted brussels sprouts and sweet potato with a super simple caesar salad with baby romaine that I had grabbed. I don't know if it is a placebo or if it really was the nutrients but I felt a lot better after. I still feel yucky but it definitely helped.
I also was craving fruit and figured it wouldn't hurt to get some probiotics in so I had some So Delicious Coconut Yogurt (Strawberry Banana flavor) with fresh raspberries (which is weird because I don't normally like raspberries) and strawberries. This was also really good.
So there you have all of my photos from the week! I hope that you are doing well. Does anyone care about the Superbowl? I'm going to enjoy a festive dinner but that's about it, ha!
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! <3

Sorry you got sick! Brussel Sprouts and Sweet Potatoes should help.
Gorgeous photos. You have so much light considering it is winter.
Tyler and TJ are always so impeccably groomed. Do they specially get gussied up to see their Aunt?
That red lentil soup looks amazing! I bet those nutrients from your healthy dinner helped your body alot! Teddy and TJ always make me so happy!! Hope your feeling better!
Look at those pups!! So precious! I know a lot of sick people, at work, my family, and friends? It's tough out there. I recently got a flu shot, even though I'm not convinced they actually do more good than bad, as the flu is taking down my school in the last week. I hope you are soon recovered!
I need to try overnight oats! Looks so good!
They definitely helped! I felt really good really quickly.
Thank you! I photographed most of the meals on a little stool in front of a giant window where I work. It helps grab the little light that is out there. Dinners are hard to photograph but I do the best I can. Editing helps too ;)
I think they usually plan grooming appointments before vacations. TJ can tend to smell a little Dorito-ey so it definitely helps that they groom him before he climbs up on my chest and parks himself under my nose.
That soup is my favorite soup of all time! It definitely helped me kick the cold really quickly. I'm so happy that the boys can make you smile :) I'm watching them again the end of February (I think) and I can't wait for more cuddles!
The pups are always the best :) Such goofballs. I could never work in a school, the germs are just everywhere! Right before Christmas 60 kids from Delilah's school got sent home in one day with a stomach bug. That is horrifying to me.
I hope that you can avoid the flu! I'm so against medications now that I've had so many bad reactions to them but I hope that the shot works and you can avoid it!
Oooh yes definitely try the overnight oats!
